TANKS INSTALLED IN CABIN AREA ON WOOD BASE FOR EVEN LOAD DISTRIBUTION. TANKS ARE GROUNDED TO AIR- FRAME FOR STATIC DISCHARGE. TANKS ARE RECTANGULAR, INTERNALLY BAFFLEDCONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM 0.100" THICK AND PRESSURE TESTED IAW FAR 23.965A(1). FUEL TANKS ARE SECURED TO FORWARD PASSENGERS OUTBOARDSEAT ATTACH POINTS, AFT SEAT ATTACH POINTS AND REAR BULKHEAD VIA TIE DOWN RINGS & 10,000 POUND CARGO STRAPS MEETING OR EXCEEDING MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS OF FAA TSO C22. FLOOR LOADING LIMITS ARE NOT EXCEEDED. FERRY FUEL SYSTEM TEES INTO AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM BETWEEN AIRCRAFT SELECTOR VALVE AND AIRCRAFT LH WING FUEL TANK. ALL FITTINGS ARE NO.8 AND PARKER FUEL HOSE USED THROUGHOUT THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM. FERRY FUEL MANIFOLD MOUNTED BEHIND COPILOT'S SEAT. FERRY FUEL SYSTEM USES A RAM AIR VENT TO PROVIDE EXTERNAL VENTING AS WELL ARE PROVIDE A POSITIVE PRESSURE TO AID THE FLOW OF FERRY FUEL TO THE ENGINE. FERRY FUEL SYSTEM GROUND CHECKED. FERRY FUEL SYSTEM TO BE FLIGHT TESTED AND RESULTS ENTERED IN AIRCRAFT RECORDS. FUEL TANK PLACARDS & SYSTEM OPERATION PLACARDS ARE INSTALLED ON THE FERRY FUEL TANKS. THIS SYSTEMMUST BE OPERATED IAW THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS AND OPERATING LIMITS OF THE SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT. FERRY SYSTEM OPERATIONALLY CHECKED AND FOUND SAFE FOR INTENDED OPERATION. LOGBOOK ENTRIES MADE. SEETEMP WEIGHT AND BALANCE FOR AIRCRAFT LOADING INFORMATION.
The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
