THE SYSTEM WAS INSPECTEDFOR SECURITY AND WAS LEAK CHECKED. NO DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED AT THISTIME. APPROVED AFMS, CASA DOCUMENT D.T. 81-2504, FOR CASA 212 AIRCRAFTPROVIDES SUPPLEMENTARY FUEL TANK INSTRUCTIONS, SPECIAL LONG RANGE OPERATIONS, FUEL MANAGEMENT, WEIGHT AND BALANCE INFORMATION, ETC. AND IS REQUIRED TO BE ONBOARD WHILE EXTENDED TANKS ARE INSTALLED. ALL REQUIRED PLACARDS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AND THE AIRCRAFT IS RELEASED UNDER PART 91 FLIGHT RULES WHILE THE LONG RANGE TANKS ARE INSTALLED. PRIOR TO APPROVING THE AIRCRAFT FOR RETURN TO SERVICE IN THE STANDARD CATEGORY, THE FUEL SYSTEM MUST BE RETURNED TO THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION. A NEW WEIGHT AND BALANCE HAS BEEN COMPUTED REFLECTING THE INSTALLATION OF THE LONG RANGE/FERRY FUEL SYSTEM PER DRAWING NUMBER 212-99021. WEIGHT AND BALANCE ARE WITHIN THE WEIGHT AND CG LIMITATIONS PER SB 212-28-20 AND THE C212 TYPE CERTIFICATE A43EU AND IS INCLUDED IN THE PILOT'S OPERATING HANDBOOK. THERE IS NOT SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE DEFINED FOR THIS INSTALLATION. THIS 337 WAS CREATED TO RECORD THE EXTENSION OF THE AIRCRAFT RANGE BY THE INSTALLATION OF THE CASA LONG RANGE/FERRY FUEL TANKS.

The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
