THIS MAJOR ALTERATION COSISTS OF THE MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUELSYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL AND OIL SYSTEM. THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM CONSISTS OF TWO FERRY FUEL TANKS TOTALING 120 GALLONS. THE OIL SYSTEM IS A HAND PUMP SYSTEM, WITH AN ENGINE OIL FEEDSELECTOR VALVE. THESE TWO SYSTEMS ARE REQUIRED TO EXTEND THE RANGE FORA FLIGHT FROM HAWAII TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. THIS MAJOR ALTERATION WILL BONSIST OF REMOVING THE AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEATS, FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT, AS REQUIRED AND INSTALLING A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INTHE CABIN. THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT MAIN FUEL SYSTEM. THE FERRY FUEL TANK SYSTEM CONSISTS OF TWO FERRY FUEL TANKS INSTALLED AT FUSELAGE STATIONS AS SHOWN IN THE TABLE BELOW. THERE ARE TWO FERRY TANK SELECTOR VALVES AND ONE SYSTEM SELECTOR VALVE AND A FABRICATED FUEL LINE WITH A TEE FITTING INSTALLEDBETWEEN THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SELCTOR AND THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRIC BOOST PUMPNUMBER 1, 45 GALLONS, RIGH SIDE STATION 87. NUMBER 2, 75 GALLONS, CENTERED AT STATION 124. THE TANKS ARE IRREGULAR IN SHAPE AND DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM . 100 INCHES THICK BY ROYALL MANUFACTURING OF PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA. THE TANKS ARE PRESSURE AND LEAKED CHECKED AS PER PERTINENT FARS. THE TANKS ARE ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. THE TANKS ARE VENTED TO POSITIVE AIR PRESSURE, THROUGH A VENT SYSTEM AND CONNECTED TO FITTING LOCATED IN A COCKPIT VENT WINDOW ALUMINUM SANDWICH PLATE. THE TANKS ARE MOUNTED ON 1/2 INCH PLYWOOD PALLETS. THE TANK ARE SECURED TO THE AIRFRAME USING THE FORWARD SEAT RAIL CARGO TIE DOWN RINGS, CENTER SPAR CARRY THROUGH LIP FOR FORWARD RESTRAINT AND CARGO SYSTEM SEAT RAIL CARGO RINGS
The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
