THIS MAJOR ALTERATION CONSISTS OF A MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL TANK AND ASSOCIATED VALVES AND PLUMBING FOR FERRY OPERATIONS. THE EXTENDED RANGE FUEL TANK WILL BE LOCATED BETWEEN FUSELAGE STATION 200-260. INSTALLED FERRY/DELIVERY FUEL TANK SYSTEM WITH REFERENCE TO TDL AERO INSTALLATION DOCUMENT C208-500. SEE ATTACHED SHEET WITH WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA. FUEL AIRCRAFT WITH FERRY TANK INSTALLED: OPEN ALL DOORS PRIOR TO FUELING. FILL AIRCRAFT WING TANKS FIRST PRIOR TO FUELING FERRY TANK. FUEL FERRY TANK BY SPECIFIC METERING OF FUEL TO CAPACITIESPLACARDED ON FERRY TANK. DURING FUELING INSPECT SYSTEM FOR LEAKS, STOPFUELING IF LEAKS ARE DETECTED AND CORRECT ANY DEFECTS. INSTALL FERRY TANK CAP AND ASSURE IT IS TIGHT. AIRCRAFT MUST BE OPERATED PER A SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT WHILE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IS INSTALLED. FERRY SYSTEM SHALL BE REMOVED UPON REACHING DESTINATION IN THE OPERATIONS LIMITATIONS. | |||

THIS AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN EQUIPPED WITH TWO 205-GALLON FUEL TANKS. THIS TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IAW FAA APPROVED TELFORD AVIATION SERVICES INC REPORT TAS-CE-208. SEE ATTACHED TEMP WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA. THIS TEMPORARY WEIGHT AND BALANCE WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE DURATION OF THE SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT (FAA FORM 8130-7) AND/OR THE TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM IS REMOVED. REQUIREMENTSFOR ADDITIONAL OIL HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED IAW AC23.1011-1. INSTALLA- TION AND REMOVAL ISNTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED ALONG WITH FERRY FUEL SYSTEM MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONS. THIS IS A TEMPORARY INSTALLATION. UPON ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION, THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM MUST BE REMOVED, THE AIRCRAFT INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE AND PROPER OPERATION AND THE COMPASS CHECKED FOR ACCURACY BEFORE RETURNING THIS AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. THE CURRENT WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA IN THE FAA APPROVED AIRPLANE FLIGHT MANUAL OR PILOTS OPERATING HANDBOOK WILL AGAIN APPLY. THIS INSTALLATION IS ONLY FOR THE AIRCRAFT IDENTIFIED ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THIS FORM. ANY INSTALLATIONS FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL INSTALLA-TION, AS DATED ON THE FRONT OF THIS FORM, ARE DONE AT THE INSTALLERS RISK, NOT TELFORD AVIATION SERVICES. |
