THIS DATA WAS FIELD APPROVED BY FAA, NE-FSDO-05 ON 11-21-88, AND THE ORIGINAL 337 APPROVAL IS RETAINED IN THE AEROFUSION CRSSA5R190N REPAIRSTATION MANUAL. LONG RANGE FUEL TANK/S INSTALLED PER AEROFUSION DRAWINGS AF-BE-30-11, AF-BE-30-FS, AF-BE-1D, AF-BE-30-FM, AND THE FOLLOWING FUEL TANK DRAWINGS - AF-TYP:-100 PIPER. A NEW WEIGHT AND BALANCE HAS BEEN COMPUTED AND PROVIDED TO THE PILOT, AND THE AIRCRAFT IS WITHIN THE WEIGHT AND C.G. LIMITS. IF THE GROSS WEIGHT EXCEEDS 110% OF THE MAXIMUM CERTIFICATED WEIGHT, A STRUCTURAL EVALUATION LETTER FROM THE APPROPRIATE ACO IS ATTACHED. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WIH THE ABOVE NAMED DRAWINGS, OPERATED PROPERLY, AND DOES NOT LEAK. THE MAGNETIC COMPASS HAS BEEN CHECKED FOR ACCURACY. THE PILOT HAS BEEN FURNISHED FUEL MANAGEMENT INSTRUC- TIONS. PRIOR TO APPROVING THIS AIRCRAFT FOR A REUTRN TO SERVICE IN THE STANDARD CATEGORY, THE FUEL SYSTEM MUST BE RETURNED TO ITS ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION, THE MAGNETIC COMPASS CHECKED FOR ACCURACY, AND THE AIRCRAFT INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE WHILE IN THE OVERWEIGHT CON- DITION. THE TANK IS PLACARDED FOR QUANTITY AND OCTANE. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD PRACTICES FOUND IN AC 43.13-1A AND ACCEPTED INDUSTRY PRACTICES PERTAINING TO HARDWARE AND FITTINGS. THE TANK HAS BEEN PRESSURE CHECKED TO 3.5 P.S.I. |
