TWO INTERNAL METAL FUEL TANKS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY INSTALLED USING THE EXISTING FLOOR IN THE CENTER OF THE MAIN CABIN. THE TANKS ARE SECURED TO THE EXISTING FLOOR WITH FOUR CARGO STRAPS ON EACH TANK. THECARGO STRAPS HAVE A LOAD CAPACITY RATING OF 5000 POUNDS EACH. THE STRAPS ARE ATTACHED TO EIGHT CARGO TIE DOWN RINGS THAT ARE CONTAINED WITHIN THE CABIN SEAT TRACKS. FOR THE FORWARD TANK, TWO RINGS AT STATION 141.85, TWO RINGS AT STATION 149.85, TWO RINGS AT STATION 178.85, AND TWO RINGS AT STATION 183.85. FOR THE AFT TANK, TWO RINGS AT STATION 233.85, TWO RINGS AT STATION 238.85, TWO RINGS AT STATION 254.85, AND TWO RINGS AT STATION 258.85. THE FORWARD TANK HOLDS 250 GALLONS MAXIMUM (240 GALLONS USEABLE) AND IS INSTALLED WITH THE CENTEROF THE TANK AT CABIN FLOOR STATION 165.85. FUEL FROM THE FOWARD TANK IS GAVITY FED INTO THE MAIN FUEL TANKS THROUGH ON 2 FOOD 538 INCH FLEXIBLE HOSE (P/N 300-10), FROM THE TANK CONNECTED TO A 1/2 INCH BALLCHECK VALVE (P/N V500 P8) WITH AN816-10 FITTING. THE CHECK VALVE IS CONNECTED TO ANOTHER 1 FOOT FLEXIBLE HOSE (P/N 303-10) WITH A AN816-10FITTING TO THE AIRCRAFTS VENT SYSTEM AT THE CABIN FLOOR (STATION 177.85) AND FEEDS THE FOWARD TANK. FUEL FLOW IS CONTROLLED WITH SHUT OFF VALVE. THE HOSES WERE ASSEMBLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AC 43.13-1B, CHAPTER 9, FIGURE 9-8, PAGES 9-21 THROUGH 9-26, AND CHAPTER 7, FITTINGAND HARDWARE. THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN LEAK CHECKED AND OPERATIONALLY CHECKED. THE AFT FUEL TANK HOLDS 250 GALLONS MAXIMUM (240 GALLONS USEABLE) AND IS INSTALLED WITH THE CENTER OF THE TANK AT CABIN FLOOR STATIONS 244.85. FUEL FROM THE AFT TANK IS GRAVITY FED INTO THE MAIN TANKS THROUGHT ONE 2 FOOT 6 INCH, 5/8 INCH FLEXIBLE HOSE (P/N 300-10),
