THIS MAJOR ALTERATION IS A TEMPORARY INSTALLATION OF (1) 529 GALLON TURTLEPAC FERRY FUEL BLADDER AND (1) 300 GALLON AERO TECH LABORATORIESINC. ("ATL") (PN105718) HEAVY DUTY FERRY FUEL BLADDER, IN THE CABIN ALONG WITH (1) 24 VOLT BACKUP FUEL PUMP AND (1) 12 VOLT BACKUP FUEL PUMP, ASSOCIATED FERRY FUEL TRANSFER SUPPLY LINES, (7) MILWAUKEE FIRE SAFE VALVES (2) AN833-10D FITTINGS INSTALLED IN THE LEFT WING INBOARD FUEL TANK INSPECTION PANEL AND THE LEFT EMERGENCY EXIT, PLUG PANEL. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLATION,REQUIRED FOR FERRY FLIGHT FROM HAWAII TO THE U.S. MAINLAND. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT IS FOR SCHEDULED UPCOMING AIRCRAFT HEAVY MAINTENANCE. THIS DOCUMENT IS IN SUPPORT OF AN APPLICATION FOR SPECIALFLIGHT PERMIT PER FAA DOCUMENT 8130.2B SECTION 13 PARAGRAPH 492. THE SYSTEM IS A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLED IN THE CARGO COMPARTMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE SYSTEM UTILIZES (1) 529 GALLON TURTLEPAC FERRY FUEL BLADDER, (1) 300 GALLON ATL FERRY FUEL BLADDER, (1) 24 VOLTBACKUP FUEL PUMP, (1) 12 VOLT BACKUP FUEL PUMP, AND DIRECT FEED FERRY FUEL TRANSFER LINES, THAT FEEDS TO THE LEFT WING INBOARD FUEL TANK INSPECTION PANEL. THE 24 AND 12 VOLT PUMPS ARE BOLTED TO A COMMON 0.20" ALUMINUM PLATE USING AN3 BOLTS AND MOUNTED DIRCTLY TO THE CARGO FLOOR, LEFT SIDE AT STATION 430, USING AN3 BOLTS TO PREEXISTING FLOOR PANEL MOUNTING SCREW POSITIONS. THE 24 VOLT PUMP IS POWERED FROM THE LEFT 28 VOLT DC BUS AND PROTECTED BY AN INLINE 10 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER SWITCH SECURED TO THE LEFT MAIN 28 VOLT CIRCUIT BRAKE PANEL, BY AN ALUMINUM CIRCUIT BREAKER MOUNTING PANEL, ACCESSIBLE TO THE PILOT. THE 12 VOLT PUMP IS POWERED BY A 12 VOLT 35 AMP/HOUR, DRY CELL BATTERY
