THIS MAJOR ALTERATION CONSISTS OF A MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL CONSISTING OF 3 ALUMINUM FERRY FUEL TANKS, 5 FUEL SELECTOR VALVES AND ASSOCIATED FERRYFUEL FEED LINES AND FITTINGS. THE SYSTEM IS REQUIRED TO EXTEND THE RANGE FOR A FLIGHT FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA TO HONOLULU HAWAII. THIS MAJOR ALTERATION WILL CONSIST OF REMOVING THE AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEATSFURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT, AS REQUIRED, FROM THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENTAND INSTALLING A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IN THE CABIN AND REAR BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT. THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM WILL BE CONNECTEDTO THE AIRCRAFT MAIN FUEL SYSTEM. THE FERRY FUEL TANK SYSTEM CONSISTS OF ONE 42 GALLON TANKS AND ONE 25 GALLON TANK. THIS PROVIDES A TOTAL OF 134 GALLONS FO FERRY FEUL AND 137 GALLONS OF AIRCRAFT NORMAL FUEL CAPACITY. #1 42 GALLONS NOSE BAGGAGE STATION -5.0. # 2 70 GALLONS CENTERED STATION 34.0. # 3 60 GALLONS CENTERED STATION 60.0. THE TANKSARE RECTANGULAR IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM .100 INCHES THICK BY ROAYALL MANUFACTURING OF PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA. THE TANKS ARE PRESSURE AND LEAKED CHECKED AS PER PERTINENT FARS. THE ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. THE TANKS ARE VENTED TO POSITIVE RAM PRESSURE, THROUGH A VENT SYSTEM AND CONNECTED TO FITTING LOCATED ON THE LOWER FUESLAGE INSPECTION PANEL. THE TANKS ARE MOUNTED ON 3/8 INCH PLYWOOD PALLETS. THE CABIN TANKS ARE SECURED WITH (6) 2000POUNG CARGO TIE DOWN STRAPS SECURED TO (8) CARGO SYSTEM INCE CARGO TIEDOWN RINGS MOUNTED TO THE EXISTING SEAT RAILS ON THE SEAT TRACKS FORE AND AFT OF THE TANKS AND CENTERED SEAT MOUNTING AND SEATBELT BRACKETS.THE REAR TANK IS SECURED WITH EXISTING BAGGAGE COMPARMENT TIE DOWNS.
The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
