THIS MAJOR ALTERATION CONSISTS OF A MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL SYSTEM, CONSISTING OF FOUR ALUMINUM FERRY FUEL TANKS, 6 FUEL SELECTOR VALVES AND ASSOCIATED FERRY FUEL FEED LINES AND FITTINGS. A TEMPORARY OIL SYSTEM IS INCORPORATED WITH A HAND PUMP TO REPLENISH THE ENGINE OIL SUPPLY. THE SYSTEMS ARE REQUIRED TO EXTEND THE RANGE FOR A ONE TIME DELIVERY FLIGHT FROM NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEVADA TO HONOLULU, HAWAII. THISMAJOR ALTERATION WILL CONSIST OF REMOVING THE AIRCRAFT COPILOT SEAT, CENTER SEATS REAR SEAT AND CARPETS FROM THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND INSTALLING A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IN THE CABIN. THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT MAIN FUEL SYSTEM. THE FERRY FUEL TANK SYSTEM CONSISTS OF ONE 30 GALLON NOSE TANK AND THREE 60 GALLON CABIN TANKS. THIS PROVIDES A TOTAL OF 210 GALLONS OF ADDITIONAL FERRY FUEL. TANK NUMBER AND CAPACITY LOCATION IN INCHES NUMBER 1 60 GALLONS RIGHT SIDE CABIN STATION 90. NUMBER 2 60 GALLONS LEFT SIDE CABIN STATION 124. NUMBER 3 60 GALLONS LATERAL CENTER STATION 124. NOSE TANK 30 GALLONS NOSE BAGGAGE STATION 15. THE TANKS ARE RECTANGULAR IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM. 100 INCHES THICK BY ROYALL MANUFACTURING OF PLACERVILLE, CA. THE TANKS AREPRESSURE AND LEAKED CHECKEDD PER PERTINENT FARS. THE TANKS ARE ELECTICALLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. THE TANKS ARE VENTED TO POSITIVE AIR PRESSURE, THROUGH A VENTED SYSTEM AND A RAM AIR VENT FITTING. THE TANKS ARE MOUNTED ON 1/2 INCH PLYWOOD PALLETS, AND THE CABIN TANKS ARE FURTHER BLOCKED ON THE SEAT RAILS WITH 2X4 SPACER SPACER BLOCKS. THE TANKS ARE SECURED TO THE AIRFRAME USING THE FOLLOW
