THIS MAJOR ALTERATION IS A TEMPORARY INSTALLATION OF (2) 529 GALLON TURTLEPAC AIRCRAFT FUEL BLADDER TANKS, IN THE CABIN ALONG WITH A 24 VOLT BAKUP FUEL PUMP, ASSOCIATED FERRY FUEL TRANSFER SUPPLY LINES AND FITTINGS INSTALLED IN THE LEFT WING INBOARD FUEL TANK INSPECTION PANELTHESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLATION,REQUIRED FOR FERRY FLIGHT FROM HAWAII TO THE U.S. MAINLAND. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT IS FOR SCHEDULED UPCOMING AIRCRAFT HEAVY MAINTENANCE. THE SYSTEM IS A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLED IN THE CARGO COMPARTMENT OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE SYSTEM UTILIZES TWO 529 GALLON TURLEPAC AIRCRAFT FERRY FUEL BLADDERS, A 24 VOLT BACKUP FUELS PUMP ANDDIRECT FEED FERRY FUEL TRANSFER LINES, THAT FEED TO THE LEFT WING INBOARD FUEL TANK INSPECTION PANEL. A REPLACEMENT WINDOW PANEL AND FUEL TANK INSPECTION PANEL HAVE BEEN FABRICATED TO MATCH THE AIRCRAFT PANELS, TO ACCOMMODATE (2) AN833-10D BULHEAD FITTINGS. THE FERRY FUEL SUPPLY LINES ARE FABRICATED FROM STAINLESS BRAIDED FUEL LINES WITH 37*AN EQUIVALENT FITTINGS AND CONNECTED TO THE BULKHEAD FITTINGS ON THE WINDOW PANEL AND THE FUEL TANK INSPECITON PANEL. THIS IS A DIRECT FEEDTRANSFER SYSTEM SUPPLY8ING FUEL DIRECTLY TO THE LEFT WING TANK. THERE IS NO INTERRUPTION OF THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM. SYSTEM OPERATION OF THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM REMAINS UNCHANGED, EXCEPT FOR CROSSFLOW/ CROSSFEEDING TO MAINTAIN WING FUEL BALANCE LIMITS. THIS IS A TEMPORARYINSTALLATION THAT REQUIRES A SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT AND THE SYSTEM INSTALLATION MUST BE DOCUMENTED ON A FAA FORM 337. THE SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT AND FORM 337 MUST BE CARRIED ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT AT ALL TIMESWHEN OPERATING WITH THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLED. SEE ATTACHED

The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid.
