TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IS INSTALLED IN THE PASSENGER CABIN. THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM CONSISTS OF ONE BLADDER FUEL CELL WITH A CAPACITY OF500 GALLONS INSTALLED AT STATION 190. THE BLADDER FUEL CELL IS SECUREDUSING FOUR STRAPS RATED AT 3,335 LBS. ATTACHED TO THE EXISTING FLOOR TRACK ASSEMBLIES. FACTORY PANEL PN 101-364287-1 WAS REMOVED AND A DUPLICATE PANEL WAS MANUFACTURED WITH AN AN833-8 BULKHEAD FITTING INSTALLED. THE LHS WING MAIN TANK DRAIN PANEL HAS A -8 FITTING INSTALLED IN PLACE OF THE PLUG ASSEMBLY. THE BLADDER FUEL CELL HAS A -8 HOSE ASSEMBLY FROM THE FUEL BLADDER TO A 1/4 TURN FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE. THE VALVE IS CONNECTED TO THE BULLHEAD FITTING. A FUEL HOSE IS THEN ROUTED FROM THE BULKHEAD FITTING THROUGH THE WING CUFF AREA TO THE INBOARD FUEL DRAIN FITTING ON THE LHS WING MAIN FUEL TANK DRAIN PANEL. AIRCRAFT PRESSURIZATION IS THE MOTIVE FORCE FOR TRANSFERRING FUEL FROM THE BLADDER TO THE LHS WING. THE PILOT SHALL SELECT FERRY FUEL SYSTEM TO "ON" AS REQUIRED WHICH WILL DELIVER FERRY FUEL FROM THEBLADDER TO THE LHS WING. THE PILOT SHALL USE THE AIRCRAFT CROSSFEED FUEL SYSTEM TO FEED FUEL THE RHS ENGINE AS APPLICABLE TO MAINTAIN FUEL BALANCE. UPON ARRIVAL AT FINAL DESTINATION PER THE "SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT" ISSUED BY THE FAT-FSDO THIS DATE. THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEMSHALL BE REMOVED BY REMOVING THE MANUFACTURED PANEL AND REINSTALLING THE FACTORY PANEL PN 101-364287-1 AND REMOVING THE FITTING INSTALLED AT THE LHS WING DRAIN AND REINSTALLING THE PLUG ASSEMBLY.
The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
