THIS AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RE-FITTED WITH AN AUXILIARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM, TO ENABLE OVERSEAS DELIVERY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SOUTHERN CROSS AVIA TION, INC., FERRY FUEL SYSTEM ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS, DEHAVILLAND DHC-6COMMUTER SERIES AIRCRAFT, REPORT NO. SCA A005, PAGES, 1-20 DATED 6/1/1996, WITH DEVIATIONS TO USE TURTLE PAC 160-300 GALLLON TANKS PER PACIFIC RIM AEROSPACE CORPORATION, DOCUMENTS NO. PRA13006BE, REV. B DATED 9/13/13 AND FAA 8110-3 DATED 9/13/2013 FOR THIS AIRCRAFT. THE FUEL TANKS ARE MANUFACTURED BY TURTLE-PAC PTY, LTD. THE BLADDER TANKS WERE TESTED TO 24 PSI, WITHOUT FAILURE AND TANKS WERE LEAK TESTED TO 5.0 PSI. THE TANKS MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR FAR 23.965 AND FAR 25.965THE TANKS ARE LOCATED IN THE CABIN AT FLOOR LEVEL FOR EVEN LOAD DISTRIBUTION. THEY ARE SECURED IN PLACE USING 6 - 3333 LBS RATED CARGO STAPSAND EXISTING SEAT ATTACHMENT POINTS USING PN 78101 TRACK FITTINGS. FUEL IS ROUTED THROUGH THE INDIVIDUAL TANK OUTLET AND FITTINGS, THROUGH AEROQUIP, MIL-6000 TYPE 3/4" ID HOSE AND AN FITTINGS TO THE PUMP AND AFT TANK VENT. FUEL ENTERS IN THE TOP OF THE AIRCRAFT FUEL CELLS, LOCATED IN THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT, NUMBER ONE AND/OR SEVEN. THIS FILLS FRONT AND /OR REAR AIRCRAFT FUEL TANKS. THE FLOW OF FUEL FROM THE FERRY SYSTEM TO THE AIRCRAFT TANKS IS BY GRAVITY AND/OR PUMP PRESSURE, ADEQUATE AT ALL POWER SETTINGS. THE FUEL SUPPLY WILL ENABLE UTILIZATION OF ALL BUT ONE(1) GALLON OF FUEL PER INDIVIDUAL CELL. A PLACARD DETAILING OPERAITON OF THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IS DISPLAYED IN THE AIRCRAFT. THE GWTO IN THE FERRY CONFIGURATION DOES NOT EXCEED 140%OF THE NORMAL GWTO, IN ACCORDANCE WITH DEHAVILLAND DHC-6-300 OPERATINGDATA MANUAL, PMS 1-163-1, REV. 7 DATED 11/16/2005, PART 6, SUPPLEMENT
