A NEW WEIGHT AND BALANCE HASBEEN COMPUTED AND PROVIDED TO THE PILOT AND THE AIRCRAFT IS WITHIN THEWEIGHT AND C.G. LIMITS. IF THE GROSS WEIGHT EXCEEDS 110% OF THE MAXI- MUM CERTIFICATED WEIGHT, A STRUCTURAL EVALUATION LETTER FROM THE APPROPRIATE ACO IS ATTACHED. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ABOVE NAMED DRAWINGS, OPERATED PROPERLY, AND DOES NOT LEAK. THE MAGNETIC COMPASS HAS BEEN CHECKED FOR ACCURACY. CASA SB 212-28-20 PREPARATION OF AIRCRAFT FOR INSTALLATION OF FERRY KIT. CASA C-212-200 MM CHAPTER 28-13-10, FERRY FUEL TANK, INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL. CASA C-212-200 MM CHAPTER 28-20-20, FUSELAGESINGLE TANK-FUEL DISTRUBUTION, DESCRIPTION & OPERATION. SYSTEM WAS INSPECTED FOR SECURITY AND WAS LEAKED CHECKED WITH NO DISCRPANCIES NOTED. APPROVED AFMS, CASA DOCUMENT D.T. 81-2504, FOR CASA 212-CC AIRCRAFT PROVIDES: SUPPLEMENTARY FUEL TANK INSTRUCTIONS, SPECIAL LONG RANGE OPERATIONS, FUEL MANAGEMENT, WEIGHT & BALANCE INFORMTION, ETC., AND IS REQUIRED TO BE ON BOARD WHILE THE EXTENDED TANKS ARE INSTALLED.ALL REQUIRED PLACARDS ARE INTALLED, AND THIS AIRCRAFT IS RELEASED UNDER PART 91 FLIGHT RULES WHILE THE LONG RANGE TANKS ARE INSTALLED. PRIOR TO APPROVING THE AIRCRAFT FOR RETURN TO SERVICE IN THE STANDARD CATEFORY, THE FUEL SYSTEM MUST BE RETURNED TO THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATON. A NEW WEIGHT AND BALANCE HAS BEEN COMPUTED REFLECTING INSTALLTION OF THE LONG RANGE FUEL SYSTEM WEIGHT AND BALANCE AND IS WITHIN THE WEIGHT AND C.G. LIMITS PER SB 212-28-20 AND IS INCLUDED IN THE PILOTS OPERATING HANDBOOK. |
