| ALTERATION IS FOR INSTALLATION OF A MANUFACTURER'S TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IN THE CABIN AND HF TRANSCEIVER TO ENABLE THE AIRCRAFT TO BE FLOWN ON DELIVERY FROM PRETORIA SOUTH AFRICA TO GUAM USA. ALSO THEAIRCRAFT WILL BE OPERATED IN EXCESS OF MAX. CERTIFIED TAKE OFF WEIGHT WITH REFERENCE TO NZCAA APPROVED FLIGHT MANUAL, MFR'S APPROVED FERRY SYSTEM SUPPLEMENT AND AS APPROVED BY THE KANSAS CITY ACE DATED 6/12/08A TEMP. FERRY FUEL SYSTEM CONSISTS OF THREE PACIFIC AEROSPACE MFR'D (200 USG MAX.) ALUM. TANKS INSTALLED IN THE PASSENGER CABIN BETWEEN 98.8" AND 170.5" AFT OF DATUM, THE TANKS ARE POSITIONED ON TIMBER SUPPORT BEAMS AND SECURED WITH 5/32 STEEL CABLE AND TURNBUCKLE ASSEM- BLIES. THE 'TOP UP' FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IS INSTALLED IAW PACIFIC AERO- SPACE LTD. CORP APPROVED INSTALLATION OF FERRY FUEL SYSTEM SUPPLEMENT DATED NOVEMBER 11, 2005. FUEL IS ROUTED FROM THE FERRY FUEL TANKS VIAMIL-H-600 3/4" LINE TO THE BALANCE LINE BETWEEN THE AIRCRAFTS REAR WING TANKS WITH THE USE OF THE FACTORY INSTALLED FERRY PROVISION MOD. PAC/XL/0051. SPECIFIC INSTALLATION, TIE DOWN AND PLUMBING INSTRUCTIONARE AS PER PACIFIC AEROSPACE CORP DRAWING #11-04501 SHEET 1 AND 2 APPROVED 4/11/05. POWER IS SUPPLIED FROM THE AIRCRAFT HOT BUS VIA 12 GAUGE WIRE TO AN INLINE 15 AMP FUSE TO THREE 24V FACET FUEL PUMPS. PASSENGER SEATS HAVE BEEN REMOVED/PACKED INTO THE CARGO POD AS REQ'D. FERRY SYSTEM IS INSTALLED WITH FITTING PROCEDURES AS OUTLINED IN AC43.13-B CHAPTER 8 PARAGRAPHS 8-33 AND 38. THE TIE DOWNS CONFORM TO PROCEDURES REQ'D BY FAR 23.787 AND FAR 23.561(B)3 AND ALSO MEETS FORWARD ITEM OF MASS REQUIREMENTS OF PART 43 AS REQ'D BY PART 91.203.
