INSTALLED ONE 129 GALLON ALUMINUM TEMPORARY FEUL TANK IN CABIN AREA FOR FERRY PURPOSES ONLY. THE TEMPORARY TANKS WERE INSTALLED BY NORTH- EAST AIR USING THE FOLLOWING DRAWINGS: NAI M017A NAI PW002, NAI TF001,NAI TF002, NAI SC001, NAI V014, NAI BTD050, NAI PS002, NAI SG001 AND THE INSTALLATION WAS PERFORMED PER NAI INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 421C-KIT. THE TANKS ARE PLACED ON A WOODEN PLATFORM AT THE CENTER PASSENGERSEAT LOCATION. THE TANKS ARE SECURED TOT HE AIRFRAME WITH TWO 1000 LBSLOAD HUGGER STRAPS TO REAR SEAT TRACK SUPPORT STRUCTURE FWD AND AFT. THE TEMPORARY TANKS ARE PLACARDED FOR MAX. CAPACITY AND MIN. OCTANE AND ARE PRESSURE CHECKED TO 3.5 PSI. FUEL FROM THE TEMPORARY TANKS IS TEED INTO THE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM AT THE AIRCRAFT FUEL CROSSFEED LINES.THIS CONNECTION WAS MADE BY 2 ON-OFF VALVES, APPROPRIATE FITTINGS, PUMPS, AND LOW PRESSURE HOSE. THE TANKS ARE VENTED OVERBOARD THROUGH THE PILOT VENT WINDOW WITH THE LINE FACING FORWARD FOR POSITIVE TANK PRESSURE. THIS TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM WAS CHECKED FOR OPERATION AT THISTIME OF INSTALLATION AND WAS DETERMINED TO BE SATISFACTORY. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD PRACTICES FOUND IN AC 43.13-1A CHAPTER 14, SECTION 2. SEE 337 FOR MORE INFO.
The duration of aircraft registration certificates has been extended up to 7 years. The Registry will be issuing revised certificates in batches based on the former expiration date. For verification purposes, even though the expiration date on the registration certificate may not match the expiration date in the FAA Aircraft Registration database, any registration certificate displaying an expiration date of January 31, 2023 or later is still valid. This applies to all foreign Civil Aviation Authorities or anyone else with a verification need.
