THIS MAJOR ALTERATION CONSISTS OF A MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL SYSTEM, CONSIST ING OF ONE ALUMINUM FERRY FUEL TANK, A FUEL TWO WAY THREE PORT FERRY FUEL SELECTOR VALVE AND ASSOCIATED HOSES AND FITTINGS. THE INSTALLA TION JS REQUIRED FOR ADDITIONAL RANGE TO DLEIVER THE AIRCRAFT FROM LAS VEGAS NEVADA TO THE NETHERLANDS. THIS MAJOR ALTERATION WILL CON SIST OF REMOVING THE AIRCRAFT CENTER SEATS AND CARPETS FROM THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND INSTALLING A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IN THE CABIN. THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE AIR CRAFT MAIN FUEL SYSTEM. THE FERRY FUEL TANK SYSTEM CONSITS A 90 GALLONTANK RESTRICTED BY WEIGHT AND BALANCE TO 75 GALLONS. TANK NUMBER AND CAPACITY LOCATION IN INCHES. NUMBER ONE 90 GALLONS/75 GALLONS MAX FILL LATERALLY AT CABIN STATION 110. THE TANK IS RECTANGULAR IN DESIGNAND CONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM .100 INCHES THICK BY ROYALL MANUFACTURING OF PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA. THE TANK IS PRESSURE AND LEAKED CHECKED PER PERTINENT FARS. THE TANK IS ELECTICALLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. THE TANK IS VENTED TO POSITIVE AIR PRESSURE, THROUGH A VENTSYSTEM AND A RAM AIR VENT FITTING. THE TANK IS MOUNTED ON 1/2 INCH PLYWOOD PALLET, AND THE CABIN TANK IS FURTHER BLOCKED ON THE SEAT RAILS. THE TANK IS SECURED TO THE AIRFRAME USING THE FOLLOWING TIE DOWNS. AFTCABIN CARGO TIE DOWN SEAT ATTACH BRACKETS, CENTER SEAT RAIL CARGO RINGS, FORWARD SEAT RAIL ATTACH POINTS USING 1/8 INCH STEEL CABLES THROUGH THE SEAT RAIL EXISTING STOP HOLES. FOUR 1500 POUND CARGO STRAPS SECURE THE TANK. A TWO WAY THREE PORT FUEL SELECTOR VALVE IS MOUNTED ON PLYWOOD BASE AND SECURE TO THE FRONT OF THE FERRY TANK. THE
