THIS MAJOR ALTERATION CONSISTS OF A MODIFICATION TO THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM TO INCORPORATE A TEMPORARY EXTENDED RANGE FUEL CONSISTING OF TWO ALUMINUM FERRY FUEL TANKS, A FUEL SELECTOR MANIFOLD, VENT FILTER/ CHECK-VALVES AND A CONNECTION TO THE LEFT INBOARD FUEL DRAIN FITTING. THIS SYSTEM IS A REPLENISHING SYSTEM ONLY AND OPERATES TO REFILL THE LEFT MAIN TANK, ALLOWING NORMAL FULL TIME OPERATION OF THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM IS REQUIRED TO EXTEND THE RANGE OF THE AIRCRAFTN FOR A ONE TIME FERRY FLIGHT TO HONOLULU, HAWAII TO MERCED, CALIFORNIA. THIS MAJOR ALTERATION WILL CONSISTS OF REMOVING THE AIR CRAFT PASSENGER SEATS, FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT, AS REQUIRED, FROM THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND INSTALLING A TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEMIN THE CABIN. THE TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM WILL BE CONNECTED TO A FITTING IN LEFT INBOARD TANK DRAIN FITTING. THE TANKS ARE SECURED WITH(4) 2500 POUND ADJUSTABLE CARGO STRAPS AND 8 CARGO SYSTEMS INC TDO'D SEAT RAIL CARGO RINGS, SECURED TO EXISTING SEAT TRACKS. THE TOTAL CAPACITY OF THE FUEL TANKS IS 300 GALLONS. NUMBER ONE 150 GALLONS RIGHT HAND SIDE STATION 220 MAXIMUM FILL IS 150 GALLONS. NUMBER 2 150 GALLONS LEFT HAND SIDE STATION 220 MAXIMUM FILL IS 150 GALLONS. THE TANKS ARE RECTANGULAR IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTED FROM 5052 ALUMINUM .100 INCHES THICK BY ROYALL MANUFACTURING OF PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA. THE TANKS ARE PRESSURE AND LEAKED CHECKED AS PER PERTINENT FARS. THE TANKS ARE ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. THE TANKS ARE VENTED TO POSITIVE CABIN PRESSURE, THROUGH A VENT SYSTEM. INSTALLATION OF FERRY FUEL SYSTEM. THIS INSTALLATION IS IDENTICAL TO THE INSTALLATION DONE ON THIS AIRCRAFT WHICH WAS FIELD APPROVED ON 6/11/2013. SEE FAA FORM 337 DATED 8/30/2013. THIS FERRY SYSTEM WAS ORIGINALLY APPROVED FOR INSTALLATION IN KING AIR B200C, S/N BL-8, N58QAPPROVED BY JAMES ROGER GRACE, DERT500725CE ON AN 8110-3 DATED 4/11/2011 ARE ATTACHED TO THIS 337 FOR SUBSTANTIATION PURPOSES. INSTALLED A FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IN N48Q S/N BL48 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ENGINEERING ORDER JRG11-31-0411 REV IR DATED 4/11/2011 AND APPROVED ONFAA FORM 8110-3 DATED 4/11/2011. THE PURPOSE OF THE INSTALLATION IS TOALL THE AIRCRAFT TO BE FERRIED ON TRANS OCEANIC FLIGHTS. THE TANKS SHOULD BE FILLED SO AS NOT TO EXCEED 120% OF THE CERTIFICATED GROSS WEIGHT RATING OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE INSTALLATION USES A 529 GALLON RUBBER BLADDER FERRY FUEL TANK MANUFACTURED BY TURTLE-PAC AND DESIGNEDSPECIFICALLY FOR FERRING AIRCRAFT. THE TANK IS LOCATED EMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE FORWARD SPAR CARRY THROUGH (FS 190.0) AND RESTS ON THE FLOOR, SUPPORTED BY A 3/8 INCH PLYWOOD BASE IN THE AISLE, EXTENDING THE LENGTH OF THE TANK. THE TANK SITS IN AN ALUMINUM SECONDARY CONTAINMENT TRAY CONTAINING AN OVERBOARD DRAIN PROVISION, UTILIZING THE AFT RELIEF TUBE AND MAST PROVISIONS OF THE AIRCRAFT, COUPLED WITH BALL TYPE SHUT OFF VALVE TO CONTROL THE DRAINING PROCESS SHOULD THE NEED ARISE. IF NEEDED, THE BALL VALVE IS OPENED AND CABIN PRESSURIZA TION WILL FORCE ANY FLUID IN THE CONTAINMENT TRAY OVERBOARD THROUGH THE EXISTING RELIEF TUB PROVISION. THE FUEL BLADDER IS SECURED WITH A TOTAL OF 8 CARGO TIE DOWN STRAPS (RATED AT 5,000 LBS EACH) TO MEET FORWARD ITEM OF MASS REQUIREMENTS OF PART 43, AS REQUIRED IN FAR
