F.S. 175.5-235.5 ON THE DHC-6-300, TWIN OTTER, N48RF, S/N 740ALL RELATIVE INFORMATION IS LISTED IN THE R.T AEROSPACE COPORATION ENGINEERING REPORT NUMBER R-TDH65320.2052 DATED 2/19/92, AND ATTACHED TO FAA FORM 8110-3 DATED 2/20/92. ADDITIONALLY, AND ENGINEERING REPORTER348-1016 DATED 30-APR-10 FROM TAS (TOTAL AIRCRAFT SERVICES, INC) IS ATTACHED IN REGARD TO NEW RECOMMENDED INSPECTION CRITERIA, (SEE ITEM 5MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS). THE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION OF THE AUXILIARY FUEL TANK ARE DETAILED IN THE R.T. AEROSPACE CORP. DRAWING RT-DH65320.1202 AND RT-DH65320.2052, CONSECUTIVELY. THE TANK IS INSTALLED ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, INSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT CABIN AND ATTACHED TO THE AIRCRAFT CABIN FLOOR USING TWO EXISTING FLOOR TRACKS AND TO THE AIRCRAFT SIDE WALL USING THE EXISTING CARGO TIE DOWN TRACK.IN REGARD TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE AUXILIARY FUEL TANK THE INSTALLA-TION IS DIRECTLY ABOVE THE PRIMARY FUEL TANK WHICH IS INSTALLED OUT- SIDE OF THE MAIN CABIN AND POSSESSES NO SOURCE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE IN THE VICINITY. THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE TANK IS: 1481 LBS. ACCOUNTING FOR A TANK WEIGHT OF 264 LBS., 170.25 GALLONS OF JP-1 HAVING THE MOST CRITICAL DENSITY OF 7.15 LB/GAL AT -60 F= 1217 LB. THE INSTALLATION OFTHE FUEL TANK DOES NOT INVOLVE CHANGE IN THE AIRCRAFT PRIMARY STRUC- TURES AND AERODYNAMICS, AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH FAR 25.25, 25.365, 25.561, 25.963, AND 25.965, POSESSES NO INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER AIR- CRAFT SYSTEMS. THE TANK SHOULD BE INSPECTED PREIODICALLY FOR LEAKS ANDGENERAL CONDITION. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO AIR PRESSURIZE THE FUEL TANK TO A MAXIMUM DIFFERENTIAL GAGE PRESSURE OF 0.080 + -0.05 PSI (OR 22.0+
