TEMP FERRY FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLED CONSISTING OF TWO ALUMINUM FUEL TANKSMOUNTED IN CABIN. ONE 95 GALLON TANK MOUNTED AT STATION 50 & ONE 124 GALLON TANK MOUNTED AT STATION 80. TOTAL CABIN FUEL CAPACITY IS 219 GALLONS. TWO TANKS WERE MFR'D BY ROYOL INDUSTRIES OF HAYWARD CA. TANKS ARE RECTANGULAR IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTED IAW ABYC H-24.18(2-12)AND 46 CFR SEC 58.50(A)(4-6) FROM 5052 ALUMINUM .100" THICK IAW ABYC H-24 18.1 TANK MATERIALS. TANKS ARE DESIGNED/WELDED TO MEET THE REQ. OF FAR 23.963(A). TANKS ARE GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, PRESSURE AND LEAK CHECKED IAW FAR 23.965(A)(1) 05-25-2004. TANKS ARE VENTED TOPOSITIVE RAM AIR PRESSURE THROUGH A VENT SYSTEM FROM A SINGLE VENT FITTING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FUSELAGE. THE TWO CABIN TANKS ARE MOUNTED ON A 1/2" PLYWOOD PALLET THAT IS MOUNTED TO THE FLOOR AND SEATRAILS. TANKS ARE SECURED BY A 10 POINT TIE DOWN SYSTEM. SYSTEM USES 1/8" AIRCRAFT CABLE MOUNTED THROUGH THE SEAT RAILS AND SECURED TO 6 2,000 LB. CARGO STRAPS MOUNTED AS SHOWN IN ATTACHED DRAWINGS. CABIN TANKS FEED THROUGH 1/2" FUEL LINES TO A INDIVIDUAL 2 WAY SELECTOR VALVES THAT ALLOWS SELECTION OF EACH TANK INDIVIDUALLY. FERRY FUEL SELECTOR VALVE ALSO ISOLATES THE SYSTEM WHEN THE SELECTOR VALVE IS IN THE OFF POSITION. THE FUEL IS FED TO A T-FITTING INSTALLED BETWEEN THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SELECTOR AND THE AIRCRAFT BOOST PUMP. THERE IS ANOTHER T-FITTING IN THE AIRCRAFT VAPOR RETURN LINE THAT ALLOWS THE VAPOR RETURN TO FLOW TO A VAPOR RETURN SHUTOFF VALVE MOUNTED ON THE VENT LINE OF TANK NUMBER TWO. THE VAPOR RETURN FUEL IS INTRODUCED TO THE VENT LINE SO AS TO ALLOW CONTINUOUS VENTING OF THE TANKS AND THEN VAPOR RETURN FLOW DIRECTLY INTO THE REAR TANK. THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRIC
