INSTALLED ONE 100.0 US GALLON ALUMINUM FUEL TANK IN THE CABIN AREA FORFERRY PURPOSES ONLY. THE TEMPORARY TANK WAS INSTALLED BY NORTHEAST AIRUSING THE FOLLOWING DRAWINGS: NAI M005, NAI SC001, NAI PS002, NAI TF001, NAI TF002, NAI V012, NAI TD052, AND THE INSTALLATION WAS PER- FORMED PER NAI INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION A36-KIT. THE TEMPORARY TANK ISPLACED ON A WOODEN PLATFORM AT THE CENTER PASSENGER SEAT LOCATION. THETEMPORARY TANK IS SECURED TO THE AIRFRAME WITH 100 LBS LOAD HUGGER STRAPS. THE TEMPORARY TANK IS PLACARDED FOR MAX, CAPACITY AND MIN. OCTANE AND IS PRESSURE CHECKED TO 3.5 PSI. FUEL FROM THE TEMPORARY TANK IS TEED INTO THE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM BETWEEN THE RH WING TANK AND THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SELECTOR VALVE, BY ON-OFF VALVES, APPROPRIATE FITTINGS, AND LOW PRESSURE HOSE. THE TANK IS VENTED OVERBOARD THROUGH THE A MANUFACTURED VENT ATTACHED TO A TEMPORARY PANEL SECURED IN THE STORM WINDOW OPENING WITH THE LINE FORWARD FOR POSITIVE TANK PRESSURE.THIS TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM WAS CHECKED FOR OPERATION AT THIS TIME OF INSTALLATION AND WAS DETERMINED TO BE SATISFACTORY. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD PRACTICES FOUND IN AC 43.13-1A, CHAPTER 14, SECTION 2 AND ACCEPTED INDUSTRY PRACTICES. WEIGHT AND BALANCE FOR THIS TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM WAS CALCULATED AND SUBMITTED TO THE FLIGHT CREW. SEE 337 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. |
