| INSTALLED ONE 35.0 US GALLON ALUMINUM TEMPORARY FUEL TANK IN THE CABINAREA FOR FERRY PURPOSES ONLY. TEMPORARY TANK WAS INSTALLED BY NORTH- EAST AIR USING THE FOLLOWING DRAWINGS: NAI BTD085, NAI M022, NAI TF001NAI TF002, NAI SC001, NAI V018, NAI PS002, AND THE INSTALLATION WAS PERFORMED PER NAI INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS GC-1A KIT. THE TANK ISPLACED ON A WOODEN PLATFORM AT THE PASSENGER SEAT LOCATION. THE TANK IS SECURED TO THE AIRFRAME WITH TWO 1000 LBS LOAD HUGGER STRAPS TO REAR SUPPORT STRUCTURE FWD AND AFT. THE TEMPORARY TANK IS PLACARDED FOR MAX. CAPACITY AND MIN. OCTANE AND IS PRESSURE CHECKED TO3.5 PSI. FUEL FROM TEMPORARY TANK IS PLUMBED INTO THE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM BETWEEN AIRCRAFT FUEL SELECTOR & AUX FUEL PUMP. CONNECTION MADEMADE BY ON-OFF VALVE, APPROPRIATE FITTINGS, AND LOW PRESSURE HOSE. THE TANK IS VENTED OVERBOARD THROUGH THE PILOTS VENT WINDOW WITH THE LINE FACING FORWARD FOR POSITIVE TANK PRESSURE. THIS TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM WAS CHECKED FOR OPERATION AT THIS TIME OF INSTALLATION ANDWAS DETERMINED TO BE SATISFACTORY. THIS FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLEDIN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD PRACTICES FOUND IN AC 43.13-1B AND ACCEPTED INDUSTRY PRACTICES. WEIGHT AND BALANCE FOR THIS TEMPORARY FUEL SYSTEM WAS CALCULATED AND SUBMITTED TO THE FLIGHT CREW. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ARE SUBMITTED TO THE FLIGHT CREW AND IS ALSO ATTACHED TO THIS 337. SEE 337 FOR FURTHER INFO. EXPIRY DATE IS 8/11/98. | |||
