THE INSTALLATION USES A 529 GALLON RUBBER BLADDER FERRY FUEL TANK MANUFACTURED BY TURTLE-PAC, DESIGNED SPECIFCALLY FOR FERRYING AIRCRAFT. THE TANK IS LOCATED IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE PILOT SEAT, ON TOP OF 3/8 INCH PLYWOOD BASE AND AN ALUMINUM SECONDARY CON TAINMENT TRAY WITH AN OVERBOARD DRAIN. TANK IS SECURED WITH A TOTAL OF8 CARGO TIE DOWN STRAPS (RATED AT 5,000 LBS EASH) TO MEET FORWARD ITEMOF MASS REQUIREMENTS OF PART 43, AS REQUIRED IN FAR91.203. STRAPS ATTACH TO A TOTAL OF 8 DOUBLE STUD TYPE (RATED AT 8,000 LBS EACH) TIE DOWN RINGS ON TO THE AIRCRFT'S EXISTING BROWNLINE SEAT TRACK RAILS.
