INTALLATION OF TEMPORARY FERRY FUEL SYSTEM IS A DUPLICATE OF AN APPROVED INTALLATION DONE IN THE SAME MODEL AIRCRAFT (N87E, LM-05) ON DRAWING JRG09-31-0210 ON 8110-3 DATED 2/10/2009. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE FERRY TANK SYSTEM WILL USE THE EXISTING BEECHCRAFT FACTORYINSTALLED FERRY FUEL LINE PLUMBING THAT GOES FROM THE FERRY TANK TO THE WING TANKS. THE INSTALLATION USES A 529 GALLON RUBBER BLADDER FERRY FUEL TANK MANUFACTURED BY TURTLE-PAC, DESIGNED SPECIFCALLY FOR FERRYING AIRCRAFT. THE TANK IS LOCATED IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE PILOT SEAT, ON TOP OF 3/8 INCH PLYWOOD BASE AND AN ALUMINUM SECONDARY CON TAINMENT TRAY WITH AN OVERBOARD DRAIN. TANK IS SECURED WITH A TOTAL OF8 CARGO TIE DOWN STRAPS (RATED AT 5,000 LBS EASH) TO MEET FORWARD ITEMOF MASS REQUIREMENTS OF PART 43, AS REQUIRED IN FAR91.203. STRAPS ATTACH TO A TOTAL OF 8 DOUBLE STUD TYPE (RATED AT 8,000 LBS EACH) TIE DOWN RINGS ON TO THE AIRCRFT'S EXISTING BROWNLINE SEAT TRACK RAILS. FUEL IS ROUTED FORM THE BLADDER FERRY TANK OUTLET VIA 1/2 INCH FLEXIBLE FUEL COMPATIBLE TYGON TUBING TO A FERRY FUEL PUMP BOX. THIS BOX CONTAINS 2 ELECTRIC PUMPS WIRED (P/N M22759/16-12) TO THE MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL ON THE CO-PILOTS SIDE AND PROTECTED WITH A 15AMPCIRCUIT BREAKER (P/N 7274-2-15). THE FERRY PUMP BOX ALSO HAS A MANUAL BACKUP "WOBBLE" PUMP TO USE IN CASE OF AN ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE.
