TANKS MANUFACTURED TO MIL-E-16053K,MIL-E-15997AQQR-566 SPECIFICATIONS AND TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 23.965. TANKSARE INSTALLED IN CABIN AREA ON PLYWOOD BASE FOR EVEN LOAD DISTRIBUTIONTANKS ARE BONDED TO AIRFRAME FOR STATIC DISCHARGE. TANKS ARE SECURED TO A/C SEAT RAILS USING 1/8 INCH STEEL CABLE AND CARGO STRAPS AND TO A/C SEAT ATTACHMENTS FOR NUMBER 3/4 SEATS AFT (REFERENCE VKV DRAWING B3501). SYSTEM TEES INTO A/C BOOST PUMP INLET. VAPOR RETURN IS BACK TO A/C LEFT MAIN TANK WHEN A/C IS OPERATED ON THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM (REFERENCE VKV DRAWING B3502). SYSTEM UTILIZES A RAM AIR VENT FOR PROVIDING EXTERNAL VENTING OF THE FERRY FUEL SYSTEM AS WELL AS A POSITIVE PRESSURE IN THE TANKS TO SUPPLEMENT THE FLOW OF FUEL TO THE ENGINES. SYSTEM GROUND CHECKED. SYSTEM TO BE FLIGHT TESTED AND RESULTS ENTERED IN A/C RECORDS.
